BASIC

BASIC, being light-weighted and portable allows users to bring them around the library comfortably and sit wherever they want.
The beauty of BASIC shines when it is stacked up, forming an image of repetitive geometrical shaped structure; creating an attractive experience for users who uses the library.

understanding basic shapes through experimenting of the different form of shapes that can be found in circles and squares.

selecting a few form of shapes found in circles and squares and further develop it into a potential structure/body for the stool for a design direction.

while developing on prototypes and structure, it is important to understand the different kinds of structure required to be in the stool to be able to support humans, also, rapid prototyping of the stool helps to better understand human ergonomics of our targeted audience.

Utilizing a maximum of 2 corrugated cardboard sheets , (44” x 29” ), to fabricate 1 stool. Total 4 corrugated cardboard given. In addition, no adhesive were used,
only cable ties to fasten the inner structure together.
